HSHS Medical Group is recruiting a BC/BE Primary Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant at our clinic in Highland, IL. HSHS Medical Group works in partnership with Hospital Sisters Health System. Practice Highlights-Well established, growing practice.-Supportive Community with loyalty to HSHS-Group shared call-On-site access for labs, scans, and other needs through connection to HSHS St. Joseph's Hospital in Highland-Many labs can be done within the clinic. Any needs the clinic cannot cover can typically be taken care of by the hospital within a patient's visit.Position Requirements-Unrestrictive Illinois license prior to start-Board Certified, or Board Eligible-2+ years of provider work experience is preferred-Experience in primary care is preferred, but experience in other specialties will also be considered.Position Details-Monday - Friday weekly schedule with an option of either working 4 or 5 days per week-No holidays or weekends-Minimal call - phone call only, no call time is spent coming into the clinic-EPIC EMRCompensation & Benefits Package-Base guarantee-Paid time off with holidays accrued bi-weekly-CME reimbursement + days available per fiscal year-Opportunities to earn productivity and patient outcome/patient satisfaction bonuses-Commencement bonus and relocation assistance both availableEducation Qualifications* Master's degree in Nursing is required.* Bachelor's Degree in Nursing PLUS 5 years relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree.* Doctoral degree in Nursing is preferred.Experience Qualifications* Experience in management of patients across the care continuum preferred.Certifications, Licenses and Registrations* Licensed in the state of practice as Advanced Practice Registered Nurse is required.* Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services (WDSPS) or* Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)* Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.* Board certification from the National Certification Corporation is preferred.* Controlled Substance license in state of practice is preferred.* Federal DEA license is preferred.* Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification is preferred.
