Join The Lund Team: support and empower Vermont families!Visitation Coach - Kids-A-Part Parenting ProgramAbout the Position:The Kids-A-Part Parenting Program Family Visitation Coach will provide individual support to parents, children, and their caregivers during scheduled parent child contact (virtual and in person) in the KAPPP Space at the Chittenden Regional Correctional Facility. This is a part-time position at 12 hours per week.
  • Facilitate/supervise scheduled video visits between parents and children.
  • Facilitate and supervise scheduled video visits between parents and children.
  • Facilitate and supervise in-person parent-child group visits at CRCF.
  • Promote healthy attachment and bonding in parent-child relationships.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation as required.
  • Collaborate with the KAPPP team to support individual Family Service Plan goals.
  • Adhere to Lund and Department of Corrections policies and procedures.
  • Availability on Saturdays and late afternoons/evenings to facilitate and support parent-child interactions.
  • Other duties as assigned.
What We Look For:
  • Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology child development, human services or a related field or a combination of relevant work experience required.
  • Experience with pregnant and parenting individuals preferred.
  • Experience working with teens, children, and families preferred.
  • Awareness of the impact of the criminal justice system on children and families.
  • Ability to perform the essential functions of the position either with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Upon conditional offer of employment, must be able to successfully pass a background check.
  • Regular attendance is necessary and essential to meeting the expectations of the job.
