Position Duties/Responsibilities

Duties include:

* Operation of farm equipment and machinery

* Provide assistance with daily animal related tasks including feeding, herd health, and movement of animals

* General maintenance of farm grounds and facilities

* Will be required to work weekends, holidays, and extended normal working hours

* Able to work with and direct agriculture students, Departmental Professors, and the general community

Required/Preferred Qualifications

* Two years experience of operating large farm equipment, basic livestock handling skills (feeding, herd health and herding), and routine maintenance (including carpentry, welding, painting, cleaning, plumbing)

* Able to perform manual labor in prevailing climatic conditions and lift up to 70 pounds

* Preference to Bachelor of Science in Agriculture or related fields and/or Master's Degree in related fields
