Fashion Product Development Assistant - Eugenia Kim : Job Details

Eugenia Kim, Inc. is seeking a Product Development Assistant! The Product Development Assistant will support in managing all aspects of the product lifecycle process from inception through production. This individual will facilitate and execute the design development with a strategic approach in meeting company margin and delivery goals. Involves collaboration with cross-functional team members and our manufacturing partners. This individual should have strong communication and organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task and work well in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

· Communicate daily with factories and fabric/trim vendors

· Create and upkeep all seasonal Factory Excels and shared costing Google Excel Sheets

· Make technical comments and tech packs for factories

· Assist in sourcing fabrics and trims, and as needed, new factories

· Trend and color research

· Create POs for fabrics/trims sampling

Requirements:

· Previous working experience in Fashion Product Development

· Mandarin fluency required

· Bachelor's Degree

· Must have strong, highly advanced Microsoft Excel skills

· Adobe Illustrator skills a major plus

· Must live in New York Metropolitan area

· Strong organizational, communication, negotiation, mathematical skills

· Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
