Responsible for customer satisfaction, safety, efficient management and operation, maintenance and financial performance of the FBO facility and services. Is responsible for compliance with all rules, regulations, and policies as issued by local, state, and federal authorities.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily and other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities
Maximize customer satisfaction while ensuring the safe delivery of SPFC products and services.Lead and develop employees to perform to the highest standards, including performing tasks according to safety and customer service standards.Manage a cross-functional team that includes operations, customer service, sales, and local accounting.Motivate employees to outperform their respective targets and benchmarks.Responsible for maintaining an accident-free and environmentally compliant workplace.Oversee all business functions of the FBO including proper delivery of services, condition of the physical plant, staffing, equipment, and maintenance of same.Takes a lead role in maintaining existing business and developing new business by monitoring margins, negotiating fuel and/or hangar agreements, and problem resolution with the customer base.Responsible for the financial oversight of the facility (budgeting, forecasting, etc.)Formulate and recommend operational policies and programs that guide the organization in maintaining and improving its competitive position and the profitability of the operation.Prepare long-range plans necessary to update facilities and maintain proper maintenance of current facilities.Perform all other duties as required and assigned.Competencies

Previous FBO/Aviation management experience is required.Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.NATA Safety 1st or equivalent.Directly supervises 8-10 non-supervisory employees. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.Knowledge of work processing software, spreadsheet software, database software. Familiarity with Sage is preferred.Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or government regulations.Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
