About the AMD FED- Client Specialist: MarketStar currently has an opportunity available for an AMD-FED-Client Specialist role.The AMD-FED-Client Specialist role will be responsible for enabling the go-to-market strategy, developing customer relationships, and driving sales within the Federal Civilian space in partnership with HPI. This role will help AMD achieve revenue and market share goals, foster, and grow relationships track and assist in closing opportunities with the HPI and AMD value proposition.Location: Maryland - Remote (DC area) What will you do?
  • This specialist role is responsible for market growth by acquiring new Federal Civilian accounts in support of HPI & AMD through outcome-based sales methodologies.
  • Develops a comprehensive territory GTM strategy that includes engagement across HP's and AMD's sellers and FED VARs while also including both Sales and Marketing tactics
  • Coordinates and owns account plans for strategic FED accounts, focusing on larger deals, portfolio positioning, and effectively selling the organization's offerings.
  • Encourage HPI and VAR sales reps / account managers to quote HPI-AMD Client device products more frequently
  • Own and manage a pipeline of HPI-AMD Client device opportunities within the FED civilian accounts that identifies revenue and strategic markets and/or customers
  • Follow up on HPI-AMD Client device bid opportunities with FED VAR's where applicable
  • Deliver AMD growth targets on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
  • Leverage available partner resources to maximize close percentage
  • Provide regular feedback to as issue(s) arise on the effectiveness of the tools
  • Conduct HPI-AMD Client device sponsored engagement (if applicable and allowed by all necessary parties), and any other duties as assigned
  • Acquire and analyze monthly, quarterly, and yearly reporting to recognize areas of strength and opportunities for growth and deliver a trend analysis on a monthly basis
What will you need to succeed?
  • Solid experience with FED & Civilian sales
  • College degree in business or a related field preferred
  • Strong experience conducting group presentations or training
  • Understanding of distribution and VAR channel and the ability to learn quickly
  • Time management and organization skills
  • Strong oral, written, and presentation communication skills

The pay range for this position is $110,000.00 and $140,000.00 and may be paid annually. This pay structure may include a variable bonus component. There are several factors to consider including but not limited to, the role's responsibilities, experience, location, education/training, internal equity, and key skills.
