Job Title: Fee-For-Service Psychotherapist (LMHC)Company: Peaceful Living Mental Health Counseling, PLLCLocation: Scarsdale, NY (Hybrid or full remote options available)Company Overview: Peaceful Living Mental Health Counseling is a trauma-informed psychotherapy practice serving Westchester, NY in person, and clients across New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, and Florida through virtual sessions. We specialize in the most effective, evidence-based therapies for trauma, particularly Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). Our compassionate team supports children, teens, and adults dealing with anxiety, depression, and trauma. Known for being a positive place to work, our practice embodies the same values we bring to our clients: accountability, humor, curiosity, compassion, and playfulness, creating a supportive and healing environment for both staff and clients.Key Responsibilities:Provide individual and group psychotherapy, either in person or via Telehealth.Complete thorough mental health assessments, treatment planning, and regular client documentation in the EHR system.Use trauma-informed, mindfulness-based approaches in all therapy sessions.Collaborate with other professionals involved in the clients care, as needed, to ensure comprehensive treatment.Adhere to all practice policies as outlined in the employee handbook and client consent documents.Contribute to the practices blog by writing posts on current mental health trends.Required Qualifications:Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in New York State or Limited Permit holder (LCSWs, PsyDs, PhDs are not eligible for this position).Minimum of 2 years of psychotherapy experience.Ability to work with a diverse client base, including children, adolescents, and adults.Experience with trauma-informed care and mindfulness-based therapeutic approaches.EMDR Trained (preferred) or willingness to complete EMDR training within 6 months of hire.Although not required, special consideration will be given to those with one or more of the following specializations: Experience with eating disorders.Experience with substance abuse and recovery.Experience with child and family therapy.Work Requirements:Must be available for a minimum of 5 client sessions per week.Flexible schedule with availability for afternoon and evening hours, mid-day shifts, and/or one weekend day.Hybrid work model available (in-person sessions at our Scarsdale office and/or remote telehealth sessions).Benefits:Competitive commission-based pay ($50.00 - $115.00 per hour, based on experience).Flexible work schedule with the support of a well-established group practice, with option to transition to full-time as your caseload increases.Full administrative support - we take care of all the practice management tasks, like providing referrals, scheduling, billing, etc., so you can focus on providing quality counseling to your clientsTurn key access to a fully operational private practice, including furnished office space, EHR system, and client referrals through our marketing and advertising efforts.Retirement plan with up to 3% employer matching.Option to opt into group health insurance plan at group rates (for full-time employees only working 20+ hours/week)Annual $200 training stipend to support professional development.Parental leave and other flexible work arrangements.Professional development assistance and opportunities for career growth.Job Type:Fee-for-service, commission-basedExpected Hours:Minimum of 5 hours/week recblid ofopb3qz7sahmf4uzq5q5qeg6ec6v0
