Operate a commercial motor vehicle in a safe, courteous, and professional manner. Maintain compliance with all applicable Federal, State, and local regulations as well as company policies and procedures. Provide on-time delivery of undamaged freight to customers. Typical Duties of a Feed Driver include: Safely operates a company-owned and provided commercial motor vehicle. Effectively communicates with dispatch as required. Physically meets the demands of required duties as described in the Physical Requirements section of this Job Profile. Inspects the truck/trailers for any defects that may affect the safe operation of the unit. Inspections include pre-trip and post-trip inspections as well as reviews during operation. Reports any defects or problems with the truck/trailers to the appropriate individuals. Maintains all required paperwork associated with each particular load.
