Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Include but are not limited to the following:Operations
- Operate computerized batch mixing equipment, receiving and load-out equipment, micro-ingredient addition, and grinding equipment.
- Assist in other areas of the location as needed.
Maintenance
- Maintains inventory at desired levels.
- Performs housekeeping duties and maintains a clean work environment.
- Assist in the maintenance of equipment.
- Ensures that work area, equipment, and vehicles are all neat, clean, and well maintained.
Documentation & Standards
- Fulfills all reporting and record-keeping requirements.
- Follows standards of quality as outlined by QMS and other manufacturing and regulatory controls.
Other
- Use all tools, equipment, and vehicles carefully and for their intended use.
- Works extended hours as requested by supervisor to ensure good customer service in busy season.

Qualifications & Requirements:Must be licensed and insurable to drive.High school diploma or GED with 1-3 months of related experience.Must be able to operate a forklift safely and effectively.Understand the importance of providing extremely high levels of customer service.Possesses basic mathematical and mechanical skills, problem solving capabilities, and understands the operational processes.Prior experience and knowledge of Microsoft, Excel, and Office 365 is preferred.Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.Understand the seasonality of the farm supply business and the in-season time commitment.Must be able to interact and effectively communicate with customers and individuals at all levels of the organization.
