If you want to know about the requirements for this role, read on for all the relevant information.Ensure the quality of plastic being processed Oversee and assist with loading and unloading trucks in the shipping/receiving area Maintain a clean and safe workplace environment Supervise and participate in plastic processing line activities, including sorting, inspecting, and loading lines Ensure adherence to operating procedures and safety policies Collaborate with team members to continuously improve processes Safely operate heavy equipment Manage reworking of plastics as needed Provide leadership and training to team members Monitor and report on production metrics and targets Coordinate with other departments to ensure production schedules are met Conduct regular safety and quality inspections Start-up / shut-down process equipment Promptly respond to process alarms / constraints Make changes to the operating process to maintain product quality Ability to effectively lead individuals and teams with professionalism, respect and focus on high standards Knowledge of Process Safety is preferred Ability to impact and influence results with personal interaction, guidance, and coaching 2+ years previous leadership experience High school diploma preferred Dependable and team player Ability to effectively lead, learn, teach and grow #J-18808-Ljbffr

The Feedstock Prep System (FPS) Team Lead is responsible for overseeing production activities in accordance with safety and environmental requirements. The Team Lead will manage the processing of plastic operations and ensure smooth workflow and quality standards. This position reports to the FPS Supervisor at the Brightmark Plastics Renewal Plant in Ashley, Indiana.
