Fiber and Copper Technicians - Florida - Triage Partners LLC : Job Details

Description Position at Triage Partners, LLC I&R Combo Technician We are looking for experienced I&R combo Technicians perform drop work, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of POTS (Plain Old Telephone), high-speed internet, ONT installations as well as residential Fiber install. This could include wiring, video equipment and voice networks. Maintaining and repairing outside copper plant, & fiber facilities within assigned geographic service areas is also included.Specific job duties include:

• Drop work includes hanging aerial drops, pulling drops in conduit/subduct
• The ability to work independently in the field with little supervision.
• Observe all safety rules and regulations.
• Direct customer facing work, displaying professional appearance, demeanor when communicating products, services to customers.
• Accountability/dependability (on time and on load when scheduled and serve on call as needed)
• Teamwork (technical expertise developed to complete work efficiently to achieve work group key service measures)
• Active listening (ability to take input from customers, APS and co-workers to problem solve and improve skills)
• Asking relevant questions to ensure problems are resolved quickly or to clarify information or directions
• Active learning (curious seeker of new information and actively works to improve skills and knowledge)

Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Valid Driver's License and clean driving record
• Technician must have their own truck, van, or SUV with ladder rack
• Technician must have their own tools to perform the job as well as an android smart phone & laptop
• Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen
• Must have Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including lace up boots with a defined 1/2-inch heel, a hard hat, a reflective safety vest, a fall resistor, and safety cones
• Must be available to work flexible hours (weekend work may be required)

Physical Requirements:

• Physical ability to work various in conditions, including working in attics, crawl spaces, and in adverse weather conditions.
• Physical ability to work from a kneeling or standing position for long periods
• Physical ability to climb ladders with proper equipment (safety belt, safety strap, hard hat, and other equipment as needed).
• Able to lift and carry loads up to 75lbs including ladder
