Fiberglass Shop Foreman - $32.00 - $33.50/Hr + $2.50/Hr Foreman Rate - Six Flags : Job Details

Job Summary:The Maintenance Division is currently seeking an experienced Fiberglass Shop Foreman. This position falls under our agreement with the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers, AFL-CIO, District Lodge No. 947 and would be subject to the terms of the contract.

Activities include:• Hand laminating, working a chopper gun, and rolling out fiberglass materials• Vacuum forms and bonds plastics such as ABS, kydex, polycarb, and plex• Removing and repairing various materials and surfaces• Fabricating parts from polyester resin and urethane foam• Make work schedules and assign tasks• Follow up on jobs and check quality of workThe ideal candidate must possess:• Ability to prepare a pattern and pull a tool or a part• Must have previous supervisor experience• Ability to assemble and install appropriate parts• Basic knowledge of plastic materials, adhesive and fasteners• Four years experience in fiberglass assembly and polyester resin/hand laminating• Good mechanical skills• Ability to work weekends and holidays• Ability to work 3am shift during peak-season• Ability to work 3am shift on Sunday in the off season
