RoleReporting to the Division Manager, the Field Area Manager is responsible for facilitating the Division Manager in establishing and executing strategic plans, policies, and field construction activities of the company in his/her assigned area. This role facilitates the implementation of the company's priorities and objectives for its team. The Field Area Manager sets the crew's schedule and oversees the operations and deliverables of Rising Edge Technologies (for his/her assigned area) while establishing key long-term relationships with business partners. This role is also focused on the continuous improvement of the company's business model in order to maximize productivity and growth. The Field Area Manager is accountable for the operations of Field Construction, Field Commissioning, Trucking, and Shop personnel.Responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate all aspects of resources and equipment.
  • Provide input and assist with the creation and execution of site-specific work plans and schedules.
  • Manage logistics of all company-owned assets as well as materials.
  • Review and provide direction on various accounting functions.
  • Manage and maintain company-owned assets.
  • Manage employees to support company and personal goals.
  • Manage area project-specific and client requirements.
  • Facilitate and manage the overall environment for work performance and productivity in the area.Minimum Requirements
    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or Construction Management preferred.
    • Diploma in Business Administration required.
    • 5+ years of experience in an operations role required.
    • At minimum, 5 - 7 years of High Voltage industry experience required.
    • Supervisory experience required.
    • The ability to travel to field sites.
    • Effective communication skills with individuals at all levels of the organization.
    • A well-defined sense of diplomacy, including solid negotiation, conflict resolution, and people management skills.
    • Computer literacy, including effective working skills of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and email required.
    • Ability to use general office equipment effectively.
    • Ability to follow through and complete overlapping projects.
    • Superior time management skills, multitasking skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks with minimal supervision.Benefits
