Field Engineer - QLM - Skilled Staffing : Job Details

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Field Engineer to join an amazing client for an exciting project in College Station, Texas. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the correct installation of materials, layout of equipment, and quality assurance across all components of the job. This position requires hands-on experience in mechanical trades, plumbing, pipefitting, and electrical work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure correct installation of materials
• Layout of equipment and material (HUGE importance)
• Identify and manage RFIs (Requests for Information)
• Track and report contractual changes
• Provide quality assurance and control across all job components
• Resolve and predict issues that may arise
• Anchor and bolt down equipment according to design specifications
• Oversee concrete pour and structural phases
• Perform material take-offs
• Conduct quality control and inspections
• Strong knowledge of contractual agreements
• Line and grade layout

Qualifications:

• 3-4 years of direct and hands-on experience in a Mechanical Field (MEP)
• Prior experience in equipment and material layout
• Quality control and inspection experience
• Strong knowledge of contractual agreements
• Bi-lingual preferred
• Excellent communication skills
• Team player mentality
