Georgetown College is seeking candidates for a part time Field Experience Coordinator. This position coordinates, monitors, and tracks undergraduate and graduate students' field experience placements across all courses. This person will coordinate training and communicate directly with all relevant stakeholders related to field placement. Activities will include scheduling and hosting placement orientation sessions with task supervisors. The field placement coordinator will also coordinate and communicate field placements with districts, P-12 schools, task supervisors, site supervisors, and teacher candidates. In addition, this person will use Tevera, a data management system, to monitor field placements. This position requires a significant amount of communication with stakeholders via telephone, email, and text.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

* In collaboration with P-12 school partners, place GC students enrolled in education classes in P-12 classrooms for field experiences across all core courses, methods courses, and student teaching courses

* Monitor, track, and report placements, ensuring experiences with diverse populations across grade levels; provide data reports, including placement and program

* Participate in department- and college-level activities and meetings

* Coordinate orientations and training for new task and site supervisors each semester, including onboarding tasks associated with site and task supervisors (W9s, resumes, etc.)

* Communicate with faculty and staff about placements

* Other duties as assigned to meet the tasks aligned to the position

* Education and / or Experience -- Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) from a four-year college or university.

* Communication / Language -- Effective oral and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to read and interpret documents such as state regulations, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

* Mathematical -- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

* Reasoning -- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

* Certificates, Licenses, Registrations - Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

* Computer Literacy / General Office Equipment -- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and database administration, including MS Word and Excel. Ability to operate personal computers, online computing systems, and other office equipment. Ability to work with cloud-based field experience management software.
