Field Hockey Varsity AssistantGENERAL INFORMATIONTitle: Field Hockey Varsity AssistantDepartment: E.C. Glass High SchoolSalary Grade: N/AFLSA Status: ExemptSite/Location: E.C. Glass High SchoolReports to: Athletic DirectorDate: 7/2/2024POSITION SUMMARY
  • Responsible for assisting the head coach of the Field Hockey Varsity program. Coaching, instructing, and performing other duties assigned by the coach and or Athletic Director necessary to the development of the individuals and the team.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Assists the head coach with planning and teaching student-athletes the rules, techniques, and skills to become better basketball players.
  • Assists and directs individual and group practice activities as assigned by the head coach.
  • Monitoring student-athletes during practices and competitions.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • Previous coaching experience is preferred.
  • Experience in field hockey skills and techniques is essential.

  • Minimal travel may be required to and/or from sporting events within neighboring localities.
