Kodak is truly a place where you can have influence.As a Field Machinist you will be responsible for the following duties:• Machinists are required to repair, maintain, install, and make improvements to chemical processing equipment and machinery (including pumps, agitators, fans, centrifuges, etc.).• Ability to fabricate to exact tolerances using lathes, drill presses, grinders, and other shop equipment.• Execute preventive maintenance program.• Calibrate, align, and adjust production equipment.• Work hours are Mon. - Fri., 8-hour days (40 hours/week) with occasional overtime.• Longer term could be 24/7 coverage (Fireman's rotation - two 12-hour days, two 12-hour nights, 4 days rest)• Available for call in on off hours as needed to make equipment repairs.• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and maintenance software tools.Qualifications include:• HS diploma• Field machinist or millwright training and demonstrated experience.• Mechanical equipment repair training and/or demonstrated experience: pumps, mechanical seals, agitators, gear boxes, fans (bearings, sheaves), alignment.• Able to work in confined spaces.• Able to work from heights from a ladder or man lift.• Demonstrate effective analytical troubleshooting skills.• Able to read and interpret mechanical/machine drawings.• Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.• Excellent safety record - places safety and environment as top priority in all work• Knowledge of Lock Out / Tag Out• Effective communication skills - daily communications with maintenance planner, technical staff and operations as needed.• Good collaborator - willing to be flexible, work in other areas and with other trades as needed.Minimum Education Level and experience:2-year schooling and/or 5 plus years of demonstrated experience.EOE Policy Statement:All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, or disability.Estimated Salary: $25.00 - $31.00 Experience Level: 0-5 Years Requisition ID: 570
