Field Manager - Samuel Knight Energy : Job Details

Type: Full-time permanent position with available over-time

Pay:

• Site manager: Up to 110k + 15% (some flexibility on the base)
• Senior technician: Hourly rates vary by location and experience, but (36-52$)

Travel: Travelling to sites with a provided truck and gas/petrol card. You will be returning home the same day.

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Senior Solar Technician & a Site Manager to join one of our reputable solar clients, who develop, own, and maintain their own sites. As a Solar Technician, you will be responsible for the operations and maintenance of solar panel systems. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the growth of renewable energy and make a positive impact on the environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on solar panel systems,
• Diagnose and repair, troubleshoot any issues or malfunctions in the system
• Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed efficiently
• Follow safety protocols and adhere to industry regulations
• Keep accurate records of work performed

Experience:

• 3+ years of experience with O&M works on Utility-scale solar farms or huge C&I projects (1MW+)
• Managing other technicians
• Experience with AC, DC, and PV Systems
• Experienced with locating and troubleshooting groundfaults
• OSHA certifications
• Valid drivers license
