Summary:

Assists with Fuel Restoration, Incident Response and petroleum support jobs and work orders as needed. Interacts with clients on site to provide outstanding customer service. Performs pre-job inspection and walk throughs, equipment operation and emergency response services to region-wide customers and to provide field labor as needed. Travels to customer locations to provide vacuum truck, water blasting, jetting, decontamination and emergency response services upon client's request.

Responsibilities:

* 70 % : Performs or assists as needed with fuel restoration, incident response, heavy industrial cleaning and/or product containment as needed. Customer Service: Communicates effectively with customers on site in a professional, friendly, helpful manner. Ensures all Seneca employees follow site and customer policies and procedures.

* 15 % : Safety Management: Inspects, maintains and donns personal protective equipment. Ensures peers and subcontractors are protected and has the responsibility and authority to stop work deemed unsafe. Equipment inspection, maintenance and operation: May operate large vehicles including vacuum trucks, semis and other heavy equipment. Inspects equipment before and after operation and documents deficiencies in accordance with DOT regulations and company policy. May be assigned responsibility for a single company vehicle which includes responsibilities for routine maintenance and cleaning.

* 10 % : May Transport HAZMAT as experience and qualifications increase: Transport hazardous materials and other various chemicals that may be presented to Seneca Companies for transport and be responsible for the DOT Laws applicable to such.

* 5 % : Mobile-device based administration and documentation: Utilizes mobile devices to plan, track and document job data including vehicle maintenance and operation, work order progress, personnel status and working hours. Responds to a variety of communication methods such as email, text messages, phone calls and application alerts in an appropriate time frame. Completes safety training and documentation on time.

Requirements:

* Education : Requires a high school diploma.

* Experience : 0-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area.

* Licenses/Certifications : 90 days upon hire requires current OSHA HAZWOPER 40 certification, Valid drivers license.

* Technical Abilities : Relies on supervision and training to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks.

* Autonomy/Direction : Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines from senior Technicians in the field to perform the functions of the job. Works under close supervision. Primary job functions periodically require exercising independent judgment. Must have the ability to travel overnight over 50%. Must have the ability to be on-call 24-7 for emergency response on a rotational basis.

* Working Hazards : Works in an environment with potential exposure to fumes, dirt, noise, equipment movement dangers, vibrations, dangerous chemical/solvents, electrical shock, and inclement temperature extremes.

* Tools and Equipment : Ability to perform manual construction work and equipment operation as described. Knowledge and experience with computer programs (PowerApps, Outlook).
