The Right People doing the Right Things ℠Think BIG and move fast at Southwestern Energy!Southwestern Energy is hiring a Field Operator for our Wetzel County, West Virginia area.To be successful in this role you will:G o through a training program to ensure safety measures are met before being released to work independently. This position includes doing daily checks on all equipment on a well pad, recording daily well information into a SWN software program, minor repairs to production equipment, and keeping wells flowing at target rates. The position requires working outside in all types of weather. The ideal candidate will be mostly working on their own on a daily basis and will be required to work occasional overtime, nights, weekends, and holidays.Perform daily check of assigned wells and production locationsStrive to optimize production on assigned wellsPerform minor repairs and maintenance on surface production equipment with limited supervisionKeep daily records of gas and water produced volumes, pressures and maintenance performed on wells.Be willing and able to learn the job duties of a Field OperatorIncorporate and develop strong computer skills and software use as required by the positionEncompass the understanding and development of Southwestern Energy corporate goals and fully embodies “The Right People Doing the Right Things” at all times by behaving accordinglyDevelop knowledge of gathering, interpretation, and transmission of pertinent dataWork diligently toward the achievement of team goalsDevelop working understanding of artificial lift systems, electronic controls, and other equipment associated with the well siteRecord and submit all well data in software programYour Background Includes:High School Diploma or equivalentProduction experience preferredValid Driver's License requiredStrong computer skills especially Microsoft Office Products (Excel)Experience/knowledge of Well surveillance tools such as Cygnet, EU, Share PointOccasionally Lift / Carry weights to 50 lbsOccasionally Push / Pull weights to 50 lbsSquatting / Bending / Kneeling / Stair climbing / Reaching / TwistingStand / Walk for intermittent periodsSit for extended periodsAbility to drive long distances in remote areasBe a part of the Southwestern Energy team, where we stretch the limits of what is possible.
