Milestone Technologies is currently hiring for a Field Receptionist to work Onsite in Washington, DC. The Field Receptionist role carries significant responsibility and requires a strong stakeholder with extensive front-of-house and customer service experience. The Field Receptionist is responsible for providing general administrative and clerical support and serves as the initial point of contact for all office visitors. Therefore, this person must exhibit professionalism and a positive attitude. How You Will Make an Impact: •Greet guests entering the organization and notify the host upon guest arrival •Provide excellent customer service to clients •Ensure project knowledge across the Reception team •Manage luggage check-in, storage, and tagging system •Receive and route delivery items •Provide general administrative and clerical support •Offer support and coverage for team and/or special events, including badging •Manage the high-volume lobby while simultaneously keeping the reception area organized •Arrange ground transportation as needed •Provide coverage for other receptionists during lunch and time off as needed •Support additional projects and duties as assigned •Demonstrate excellent multitasking and customer service skills •Support initiatives, including ticket drops, merchandise handouts, and others as requested •Complete monthly and quarterly service-related training to meet Milestone, Client department standards •Conduct weekly stock audits for your site and place orders via leadership •Collaborate effectively with onsite security to ensure high-quality service while following co-employment guidelines •Respond to all assigned communication channels promptly, including email, workplace chat, or others as assigned •Work collaboratively with project coordinators on local initiatives, including SOP, Lobby Guide updates, and other assigned projects •Communicate and uphold visitor guidelines at the desk, verifying all necessary eligibility to be onsite upon guest/employee arrival •Collaborate effectively with the supervisor, communicating all necessary updates regarding you and your local team •Uphold NDA, Mutual NDA visitor standards •Maintain a high level of discretion with User Data, Employee Data, or any confidential information on a need-to-know basis •Support onsite GS team during evacuations/emergencies What You Will Need to Succeed: •High School Diploma or GED required •1year experience in a customer service setting required •1year experience working within MS Office Suite and Outlook required •Excellent oral and written communication skills •Assertiveness, with strong influencing skills •Ability to interact effectively at various professional levels and across diverse cultures •Action-oriented with a passion for getting things done quickly, efficiently, and properly •Ability to work well under pressure, proven de-escalation skills •Strong ability to communicate quickly and efficiently using online platforms •Strong attention to detail •Strong problem-solving skills with a prioritization of finding solutions #LI-RF1
