Field Sales Specialist Summary:

The Field Sales Specialist is responsible for prospecting and selling supplies to institutional and industrial accounts that include but not limited to; Hospitals, Health Care, Educational facilities, Hotel/Motel, Retail Stores, Malls, Manufacturing Plants, Food Processing plants and varied other businesses by using a consultative selling approach.

Field Sales Specialist Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Responsible for attaining the knowledge and understanding of the company's product offering and be able to effectively convey in a professional and consultative manner to customers.
  • Achieve sales and margin goals
  • Plans daily activity
  • Develops and maintains a New Business Pipeline of existing and prospective customers.
  • Participate in vendor and sales training
  • Maintains and updates CRM.
  • Conducts regular customer reviews
  • Works with the Director of Sales, Business Development Managers, Manufacturer Reps, and Specialists to promote growth with territory

Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
