Job Title: Field Serivce Technician (Sand Molding Equipment, 100% travel) Location: REMOTE (Must be located within 2-hours of an international airport)Job Type and Duration: Direct hirePay rate: $34-$40/hr plus overtime SUMMARY We are looking for a candidate who must have Sand Molding equipment experience to provide mechanical, electrical, and technical support to customers for commissioning, installation, inspection, maintenance, service, repair, rebuild and upgrades for molding equipment and inspect molding equipment. Proficient in conducting all of the physical attributes of the job. Proactive in providing solutions to problems. This is a remote position, anywhere in the US, within 2 3-hour distance to a major international airport. RESPONSIBILITIES

• Installation of new equipment
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment.
• Inspect machines for safety, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical problems.
• Perform electronic and hydraulic tune-ups to machines.
• Evaluate the customer's needs for machine parts.
• Conduct direct and clear communication with the customers regarding their specific needs.
• In conjunction with sales and customer service, establish and grow strong customer relationships.
• Ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders (maintenance personnel and management) within customer's organization.
• Ability to manage the activities of the customer's maintenance personnel and / or outside contractors during machine installations or major overhauls.
• Strong communication skills coupled with technical knowledge and aptitude. Must be good at problem solving and decision making and communicating these issues to clients in a positive and helpful manner.
• Conducts onsite customer training including proper operational and equipment maintenance
• Responsible for expense management and service revenues.
• Complete all documentation legibly and in a timely manner as required.
• Support the Sales Department staff.
• Continuous education and certifications to maintain up to date technical knowledge of our equipment lines.
• Ability to supervise projects and contractors as needed.
• Ability to manage own schedule efficiently and effectively.
• Ability to comply with all Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) requirements and other applicable federal, state, and local EHS requirements.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

• High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)
• Must have some experience with sand molding equipment.
• 2-3 years of Electrical and Mechanical experience in industrial equipment
• Proficient in mechanical and electrical blueprint reading and interpretation.
• Ability to travel 80-100% of the week (away from home office); domestically and internationally
• Work extremely flexible hours, including holidays and weekends, as required.
• Qualified candidates must be fluent in English and Spanish would be a plus.
• Excellent written skills are required to issue instructions and present ideas, concepts, and solutions to all levels of employees and vendors via email, graphs, charts, etc., that are organized, clearly stated and concise.
• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office/Outlook.
• Certificates and Licenses: Valid Driver's License with good driving record, Welding certificate preferred.
• Other Requirements: Electrical, Mechanical, Pneumatic, Hydraulic and Ventilation knowledge and aptitude required. Welding experience. Must be proficient in blueprint reading and interpretation along with an understanding of basic Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) terminology
• Self-motivated and driven
• Willingness to train and learn the AX ERP system.
