Insight Global is looking for Field Service Automation Engineers to perform installation and service on manufacturing automation systems. You will be traveling to different client sites throughout your role, some travel may require a weekend stay depending on the service need. This role entails the deployment and maintenance of automated systems for material handling processes, including loading, unloading, and transferring operations, across a variety of client sites. The successful candidate will oversee the complete installation lifecycle of equipment at client facilities. Furthermore, the engineer will deliver comprehensive technical support and conduct training sessions for both service engineers and clients. We have multiple openings for this role in the following locations: Manchester, NH Columbus, OH Salinas, KS Minneapolis, MN Salinas, KS Seattle, WA Travel: Extensive travel is required on a weekly basis and may require a weekend stay to client sites. Experience communicating directly with external manufacturing clients. 2+ years of experience working with layout drawings and blueprints used in the installation of equipment. Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings. Ability to analyze and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems. Ability to use hand tools, Volt/Ohm meter and Oscilloscope. Proficient in trouble shooting mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems. Experience performing maintenance programming of PLC's (Programmable Logic Controller)
