Role Summary:

The Field Service Coordinator is responsible for managing the schedule for approximately (35) Field Service Technicians based in the US. This role works closely with (4) Regional Supervisors, and Flowserve Sales Engineers, to ensure resources are scheduled according to customer needs. Other responsibilities include but are not limited to: Scheduling general/site specific training, maintain compliance with drug testing consortiums, and other various administrative tasks.

Responsibilities & Requirements:

* Maintain timely, accurate data in Flowserve's AMP (Aftermarket Portal) system, including assignment of new requests, disposition of request status, and scheduling of technicians.

* Schedule the technicians to jobs, maintain the job calendar, and lead weekly scheduling meetings.

* Create job folders that provide the technicians with all necessary pre-job instructions.

* Gather information from technicians about labor hours, expenses, and work performed, and input information accurately into online systems.

* Work closely with sales engineers to obtain job updates and customer approvals on purchase orders.

* Schedule contractors as needed, and follow-up to ensure that Flowserve receives final costs and contractors receive final purchase orders.

* Assist sales engineers to obtain insurance certificates and safety statistics before the start of field service jobs.

* Schedule safety training for technicians, maintain training records, and lead safety conference calls.

* Maintain DISA database with information about drug tests and background checks for each technician, according to specific customer requirements.

* Maintain and track our drivers' valid standings with the Dept of Transportation.

* Assume leadership responsibilities for the department in Field Service Manager's absence.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

* 3+ years of relevant experience in a service-oriented organization required, experience in an industrial focused field service business preferred

* Associates Degree in Business highly desired

* Excellent computer skills including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint required, with an ability to adapt and learn new systems

* Professional, clear, articulate speaking skills on the phone and in person

* Professional, clear, articulate writing skills

* Solid basic math understanding and skills

* Demonstrated track record of being detail-oriented and meeting deadlines in a dynamic work environment

* Strong customer-service focus, with a personal ownership and initiative regarding quality, meeting deadlines, and problem-solving

* A personal style that builds relationships through collaboration, and is helpful, approachable, and professional

* Dependable, reliable attendance and a strong work ethic

* Able to respond to questions and issues after hours or on weekends as required. Able to travel overnight occasionally for training and/or customer visits.
