Field Service Power Generation Diesel Technician / Mechanic Western Branch Diesel South Charleston, WV $35.00-$45.00 Per HourWestern Branch Diesel, a subsidiary of Indel Power Group, has an opening for a Field Service Power Generation Technician at our location in South Charleston, West Virginia. This individual must have at least 3 years of previous experience as a heavy duty diesel repair technician. Indel Power Group is a distributor/dealer for major brands such as mtu, Detroit Diesel, Allison Transmission, Cummins, Caterpillar, Volvo Penta, Freightliner, Western Star, Isuzu, Autocar, and Crane Carrier to name a few. - Perform skilled tasks in the diagnosis of malfunctions, repairs, preventive maintenance, adjustments, and overhauls
- Use OEM software, tools, and technologies to maintain, diagnose, and complete repairs to promptly address and resolve customer vehicle or equipment concerns
- Commitment to safety and cleanliness
- Maintain open communication with management team regarding job status, updates, and changes
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years experience in heavy duty diesel repair
- Full set of tools to work on heavy equipment
- Willing to work weekends and nights on occasion
- CDL license is a plus

Physical DemandsTechnician roles are physically demanding and require prolonged periods of standing and/or walking. Good vision to inspect repair work and effective communication are essential. Must be able to work safely in a noisy area with many odors present.
