A leading global company in solar energy is looking for a Field Service Engineer in their Fayetteville, North Carolina region. This organization is a producer and manufacturer of solar inverters for photovoltaics systems with grid connection, off-grid power supply and backup operations. The Field Service Engineer is responsible for commissioning and maintaining commercial inverters in the field. Duties include commissioning, troubleshooting, repairing, and analyzing commercial inverter applications, regular working with high voltage electricity, and maintaining excellent customer service activities while in the field at customer sites. They are looking for candidates with strong electrical or electronic backgrounds and any network communications is a plus. You will work from home and travel to customer sites throughout the week. Overnight travel is low but occasional. 2-3 nights possible during the week. Base salary plus overtime, Competitive benefits, company vehicle, gas card, laptop, tools, and per diem when traveling.
