Our client is a leading global manufacturer of coding and marking solutions, seeking to expand their team of Field Service Engineers. With over 400,000 units installed globally, we provide solutions that cover various technologies, including continuous and thermal inkjet, laser, thermal transfer overprinting, and case coding. Their products help customers apply variable data such as best-by dates, lot numbers, and barcodes to a wide range of product packaging, industrial parts, and pallets.The Field Service Engineer will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service within an assigned territory or region. This role involves regular travel to customer sites for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of printers and coding equipment.Key responsibilities:- Adhere to safety regulations and reporting requirements to ensure the safety of associates and others- Drive revenue growth by providing outstanding service and securing service agreements- Follow up regularly with customers to exceed expectations, promptly addressing and escalating any outstanding issues- Foster a collaborative team environment by demonstrating core behaviors- Manage expenses and submit timely expense reports- Oversee trunk inventory and ensure proper stock managementRequirements:- A strong customer service mindset, technical aptitude, and excellent communication skills- A commitment to continuous learning and skill improvement to meet customer needs and contribute to service growth- Ability to manage and maintain service agreements, ensuring customer satisfaction and revenue growthBase salary, $65K - $75K with a 12K bonus, a 401k, medical, dental, life, and vision coverage, PTO, and tuition reimbursementGreat opportunity with a rapidly expanding organization, where there is plenty of room for growth.
