A group lead will typically have two to four group members. Group lead responsibilities include directing the daily workload of all group members, provide on-the-job training, coaching, and to give group members guidance when needed. A group lead is responsible for maintaining Bayer's professional image with all customers and to provide the highest level of customer satisfaction and responsiveness. Technical responsibilities include providing timely emergency service calls, preventative maintenance inspections, equipment installations, and technical support to all customers. Responsible for meeting the financial objectives for the service group to include the sale and promotion of service support programs and to communicate product sales opportunities to sales team members. Daily internal interactions with group members, supervisors and zone manager, Bayer support personnel in order to coordinate, solve problems, and complete paperwork. Outside contacts with Imaging OEM dealers, doctors, technicians, purchasing agents, hospital administrators, and other hospital personnel in order to solve customer relation's problems, ensure prompt service, increase business opportunities, and to sell service support programs. Difficulties include, up to 75% overnight travel, 25000 to 50000 driving miles per year, working with contaminated products, exposure to x-rays and magnetic fields, sick patients and the need to lift heavy equipment over50lbs. Typical work week approaches 50 hrs and on call duty as required.YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIESThe primary responsibilities of this role, Field Service Group Lead Radiology, are to:
- Perform high quality service during emergency service calls, Preventative maintenance inspections, and equipment installations. Lead group members (provide daily/weekly direction). Coordinates and delegates promotion of service support programs. Ensure group members complete all emergency service calls, preventative maintenance inspections, and equipment installations in a timely manner. Track and monitor monthly revenue. Sale and negotiation of all service program offerings in order to achieve regional objectives. Ensure teammates have all tools, equipment, and parts necessary to get the job done;
- Provide technical support to group members. On the job field training (customer satisfaction, data base management, inventory management, territory management). Assist Zone Manager/Supervisor with field audits to ensure preventative maintenance visits are completed correctly. Forecast monthly revenue. Ensure all proprietary equipment and information is safe guarded from non-Bayer personnel. Maintain company car, service inventory, calibration equipment, and tools in good working order. Manage Inventory Stock Levels and Returns (Inventory Valued Up To $30,000). Contribute towards creating a motivational performance/results-oriented work environment. Contribute to creating a teamwork atmosphere where each team member is willing to go out of their way to help each other.
- Assist in revenue collection activities. Manage individual expenses in order to contribute to achieve yearly margin targets
WHO YOU ARE Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:Required Qualifications:
- Associate's Degree in Electronics, IT Networking, Computer Science or relevant discipline or equivalent Military Experience/ Training in areas such as Electronics, Aviation, IT, Computer Science or relevant training with 4 years of applicable experience can be considered in lieu of degree;
- Demonstrated success in promoting field service programs, with past record of achieving sales/service objectives;
- Demonstrated knowledge of Bayer's Radiology business & product suite;
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics withstrong technical trade skills in areas such as, soldering, electrical installation and troubleshooting;
- Proficiency with departmental tools such as, ServiceMax, SalesForce and CRM systems;
- Demonstrated ability to work in a face paced self-directedenvironment;•Good verbal and written competencies; along with flexibility and goodjudgment;
- Ability to prioritize individual workload and small group tasks toensure customer satisfaction and maximize revenue;
- Proficient in Microsoft Office product suite;
- Strong customer relationship focus & skillset; with confidence to deescalate customer concerns;
- Demonstrated negotiation skills;
- Confidence to provide direction and communicate without direct authority;
- Ability to travel within assigned territory and nationally, at times overnight and extended time periods;
- Must hold a valid driver's license
Preferred Experience:
- Associate's Degree in Electronics, IT Networking, Computer Science or relevant discipline with 6 years of applicable experience or Bachelor's Degree in relevant discipline with 4 years of applicable experience;
- Prior experience leading teams
Employees can expect to be paid a salary of between $80,000-$110,000 Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant). Additional benefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, sick leave, etc. This salary range is merely an estimate and may vary based on an applicant's location, market data/ranges, an applicant's skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications, and other relevant factors.
