Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure health and safety remain the number one priority by adhering to all safe work practices and policies.
  • Review work orders and confirm all necessary equipment is operational before job commencement.
  • Inspect equipment and the general work area prior to initiating jobs.
  • Address deficiencies that could lead to accidents, injuries, lost productivity, or equipment damage.
  • Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on equipment as needed.
  • Complete all necessary paperwork, including service receipts, and submit to designated management.
  • Train and mentor Technicians I and II on equipment operation and service line processes.
  • Operate all necessary equipment in accordance with operational training and safety procedures.
  • Implement safety procedures in line with training and guidelines during work.
  • Provide industrial services employing established methods and regulations.
  • Conduct manual cleaning, installation, fitting, and repair of valves, caps, hoses, pumps, and gaskets.
  • Understand equipment maintenance and perform necessary tasks using supplied breathing air and personal protective equipment.
  • Maintain cleanliness in all work areas.
  • Conduct checks on equipment at the start of each shift.
  • Lead safety meetings and enforce adherence to company safety policies.
  • Meet project deadlines and optimize resource utilization.
  • Instruct and guide crew members to ensure compliance with client requirements and company procedures.
  • Enforce company policies, with the authority to remove employees from jobs when necessary.
  • Follow all local, state (provincial), and federal regulations.
  • Safely operate vehicles in compliance with U.S. DOT, state, and federal requirements.
  • Observe all corporate operating guidelines for environmental health and safety.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
  • Be available on-call for emergency response on a rotating basis every other week.
  • Engage in site remediation, equipment decontamination, and hazardous materials handling.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in environmental field service operations, construction, or manufacturing.
  • Willingness to travel overnight 2-4 nights per month.
  • Availability for on-call emergency response situations.
  • Ability to tow a trailer with a pick-up truck preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to interface with clients and management.
  • Experience managing project-related vendors.
  • Capability to manage, reconcile, and review job-related documentation.
  • Aptitude for working in confined spaces.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Physical capability to meet job requirements.
  • Ability to pass a background check, drug test, and physical examination.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in industrial emergency response, Hazmat cleanup, and confined space entry.
  • Experience supervising and working in confined spaces.
