Our client was founded in 1973 to design, manufacture, and service a complete line of complete line of powder compaction and sizing presses for the powder metallurgy industry. Since that time, they have earned a worldwide reputation as a full-service supplier to the powder metallurgy, particulate materials and thermal processing industries.They are looking to expand the Field Service team in St. Marys, PA with experienced electro-mechanical candidates, those who have experience working with 480 volt 3-phase applications with an understanding of blueprints and schematics need apply. The current field team has a lot of military talent and the company wants more to join this small but mighty team in rural Pennsylvania.General summary:Manages and performs field service activities including installing, maintaining, and servicing new and existing equipment. All activities are done in a way that represents the company in a professional manner.Essential job functions:- Extensive travel 85% to 90% annually to and from customer facilities located in North America- Some other international travel may be required- Manage large equipment installations including rigging contractors and other contracted personnel- Perform welding, piping fitting, general assembly to re-assemble equipment in preparation for startup and commissioning- Mechanical work for rebuilding, maintaining, or servicing existing equipment- Work with sales, engineering and manufacturing to plan upcoming field service installations and projects- Communicate effectively and professionally with customers to keep them informed of progress, issues, and completion status- Communicate feedback to sales, engineering, and manufacturing for continuous improvement of new installations and other field service projects- Any other task or duty as required by the Manufacturing ManagerBase salary, $90 - $110, with 10-20 hours of overtime per week, a company card, laptop, phone, plus a tool and PPE reimbursement.Here is your chance to work for an international OEM offering equipment and services for powder compaction, thermal processing, and contract manufacturing who has a deep history of employing veteran talent to the service team.
