Job BriefThe Field Service Technician III is responsible for servicing, maintaining, and traveling to customer job sites for repair/maintenance of heavy industrial equipment; must maintain service vehicle in a clean and professional manner.Responsibilities

• Operates, maintains, and troubleshoots equipment including testing and diagnostics. Monitors, evaluates, and adjusts processes or equipment to maximize quality and efficiency.

• Able to diagnosis simple and complex mechanic problems.
• Assists other technicians with performing repairs and maintenance as needed.
• Understand knowledge of oil field and engine equipment.
• Ability to perform tasks efficiently and effectively.
• Able to complete service jobs as required in a timely manner.

• Effectively communicate with customers, co-workers and management.

• Must follow all company policies and procedures.
• Must attend training classes as required.

• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.

Qualifications

• 4+ years' experience with similar industrial equipment strongly preferred

• 3-6 years prior field service experience preferred.

• Must be capable of performing complex repairs correctly and safely in a shop environment and in the field.

• Must own a basic set of hand tools.
• Must have a valid driver license or commercial driver license.
• Able to travel overnight between facilities as necessary.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficient in the English language.

Working Conditions

• Work is performed outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Work long hours and weekends as needed.
• Potential exposure to chemicals, coolants, fire hazards, dust, fumes, as well as high noise levels.
• Able to follow standard safety guidelines and promote a safe work environment.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.
• Must be able to stand, bend, and walk for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to reach, bend, push, lift, and climb continuously.
• Reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
