Field Service Technician

The Field Service Technician will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, servicing and maintaining TOX assembly machinery at our customer's manufacturing facilities.

Primary Responsibilities:

* Install, maintain and repair machine tooling and mechanics, electronics, and pneumatics

* Ensure customer satisfaction through service excellence

* Provide customer training and start-up support

* Identify, analyze, and repair equipment failures

* Strategically promote, educate and market TOX products and services to customers

* Travel overnight as required by workload to complete service calls outside of normal geographic location.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

* Ability to read electrical schematics and engineering drawings

* Knowledge of electrical principles

* Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics and automated machine functions

* Ability to utilize a troubleshooting methodology pertaining to electro-mechanical assemblies

* Knowledge and understanding of PLC's and HMIs

* Knowledge and understanding of Servo Motors and motion control

* Ability to use hand and power tools

* Ability to conduct tests and inspections of equipment using pressure, mechanical, or electronic testing equipment

REQUIREMENTS:

* Bilingual in English and Spanish

* Engineering Technology, equivalent military education or Associates Degree with 2 years experience servicing industrial equipment, or a High School Diploma/GED and 5 or more years experience servicing industrial equipment.

* Experience interfacing with both internal team members and external customers

* Experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electromechanical, and electronic equipment.

* Experience troubleshooting and responding to customer concerns

* 3-5 years in the practical application of electronics and technology

* 3-5 years of design, build or troubleshooting of pneumatic and/or hydraulic assembly machinery preferred

* Knowledge of servo motors and drives

Ability travel nationwide and into Canada and Mexico

Eligible to work in the USA
