Job Description :

Do you have strong analytical and communication skills, like to work in collaborative environment, and have a background in the US Department of Defense, US Military or Aerospace & Defense industry? We may have the perfect opportunity for you! As a Field Service Technician IV, you will be using your skills and expertise to perform a variety of maintenance and technical support on our products such as equipment, integrated systems and subsystems, and software at customer and/or field locations. You'll be responsible for installing, operating, maintaining, repairing, and modifying our products and updating and tracking the status of all field related equipment. You'll build and maintain effective relationships with our customers and provide them with onsite training.

The ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance), Aviation, and Security (IAS) business area is a leader in ISR and aviation, it is a leading prime manned and unmanned aircraft systems integrator for innovative, high-performance ISR and aviation systems. Must-haves:

* High school diploma or GED equivalent, and typically 6 or more years of relevant experience

* A higher-level degree may substitute for experience

* Related experience may be considered in lieu of required education

* Prior experience / good knowledge of Windows, Linux, Cisco, Security+, Network+, CCNA and/or A+

* Ability to understand and interpret moderately complex technical schematics, diagrams, blueprints, manuals and/or publications

* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

* Advanced understanding of troubleshooting techniques

* Advanced electrical wiring skills

* Ability to frequently travel outside the continental US, typically for extended periods of time

* Current/ valid passport and be able to obtain a visa to travel internationally

* Ability to meet current DoD and Combatant Command requirements for deployed locations

* Willing to deploy on a 60/30 or 60/60 rotation schedule

* An active Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required

* Experience with FCC or FCC GROL

* Basic understanding of Spectrometer, Oscilloscope and/or Pilot Static Equipment gauges

Preferred:

* Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, the US Department of Defense or US Military

This position requires current/active Secret U.S. Security Clearance. U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance for employment. Non-U.S. Citizens may not be eligible to obtain a security clearance. The Department of Defense Consolidated Adjudications Facility (DoD CAF), a federal government agency, handles the adjudicative aspects of the security clearance eligibility process for industry applicants. Adjudicative factors which affect the outcome of the eligibility determination include, but are not limited to, allegiance to the U.S., foreign influence, foreign preference, criminal conduct, security violations and illegal drug use.
