We are seeking a Field Services Technician on behalf of our client in the Longmont, CO area. What You Will be Doing:
- You will specialize in PC Client Field Services including deployment of primary client systems, hardware and operating system support (Microsoft Windows & Mac).
- User support using Remedy helpdesk ticket management, escalations and security.
- Work with client's Helpdesk L1 providing hands on hardware and OS/application support as a resource for remote System Managers to resolve 2nd level incidents, champion improvements to the client environment, and improve overall customer experience.
- Work closely with the IT Engineering Client Integration group to suggest, test, promote, and leverage published standards.
- Define and implement core system hardware and operating system solutions.
- Define, in conjunction with Business Groups and IT Engineering Team, functionality required to support business strategies.
- Work with customers to gather requirements, and propose, engineer, and provision system solutions.
- Research and partner with vendors and management to select products that best meet company needs.
- Manage system set-up and standardization of features and usage.
- Install, configure, support, and maintain hardware and operating system solutions.
- Create system documentation, testing, training, and post-deployment assessments.
- Communicate changes to client environment, policy, and project testing to the IT Team.
- Maintain PC systems by keeping them tuned and compliant with company standards for optimum performance and security.
- Maintain systems with the current Windows PC OS, and software, firmware patches, and upgrades.
- Maintain standards of operations, such as inventory, naming standards, and configurations.
- Support day-to-day operations and provide customer support.
- Monitor the environment for potential system issues and resolve appropriately.
Experience You Should Have:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Supporting a networked PC environment, running the current Windows environment or similar workstation
- Windows 10 OS, hardware repair, loading apps/OS, troubleshooting, working on desktop support
- Excellent communication skills both oral and written
- Solid customer service skills
- Work onsite in Longmont, CO
