  • The Field Service Technician is a skilled professional engaged in performing onsite training for new customers on the use of Omega installation equipment and the curing of UV cured pipes.This includes learning the operation of all equipment used to install our pipe liner, diagnosing and troubleshooting company fabricated equipment, and demonstrating the system when required. Training will be provided by Omega Liner Company.
  • When out in the field, the technician is charged with being an ambassador of the company, representing the brand and building strong customer relationships.
  • The majority of time will be spent in the plant in a production position best suited to an individual's skill set.
Requirements
  • Intermittent Travel will be Required.
  • You could be in the field for up to 2 weeks at a time
  • You must be able to depart with little notice
  • When in the field, you may work long hours, sometimes into the night
  • You may work in inclement weather and adverse conditions
  • You will get dirty
  • You will be paid a premium when on the road
  • Must comprehend and follow all safety rules and always exhibit safe behaviors
  • The technician must have excellent communication skills. Frequent customer interaction is necessary. Effective communication is essential
  • The service technician will provide on-site customer support, installation, maintenance, and repairs for a wide range of customers.
  • Ability to troubleshoot equipment and identify the problem
  • Ability to read and understand drawing/print specifications.
  • Must possess good problem solving skills
  • Understand and adhere to excellent quality work standards.
  • Accurately report time tracking for project costs.
  • Ability to work independently
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with all safety procedures, rules and regulations.
  • Maintain equipment to be organized and in good operating condition.
  • Identify areas for opportunities that will drive productivity and reduce costs to the organization.
  • Foster a team-oriented environment.
Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience in similar position preferred
  • CDL License (or willing to obtain)
  • D.O.T. Medical Certificate (or willing to obtain)
  • Mechanically inclined
  • Detail oriented
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and be in good physical condition. Standing, bending, climbing, crawling, stooping, twisting, reaching, and lying on hard surfaces as well as upper body and back strength required.
  • Ability to work independently
