Job Description :

This position offers a unique opportunity for those motivated to learn and grow their abilities in the mechanical trade. Experience with skilled trades, mechanical work, and or industrial work is preferred.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

* Travel to customer sites to aid in installations, troubleshooting, and warranty investigation, for FMS product portfolio and NOV equipment.

* Perform field upgrades of software and hardware and train customers on how to properly operate and maintain the system.

* Communicate field failures and feedback reports to the appropriate departments.

* Complete and submit field service documentation in a timely manner.

* Assure that results of work meet company quality standards.

* Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures.

* Maintain a clean & organized work area, utilize safe work habits.

* Perform other work-related tasks as assigned.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS

* Must possess a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent.

* College or Technical School Degree and/or related on-the-job experience preferred.

* 2-5 years' experience in field service required.

* Experience in heavy industry or the oil and gas environment preferred.

* Knowledge of oil and gas field components, including software and hardware.

* Knowledge of industrial equipment.

* Knowledge on how to properly install equipment and components.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

* Ability to pass a drug screen & background check.

* Must possess a valid Driver's License & good driving record to operate company vehicle.

* Overtime will be required - must be willing & able to work nights, weekend, and on-call 24/7.

* Must be willing & able to travel over 75% of the time.

* Must be able to read and understand and read mechanical plans, drawings, and site layouts.

* Must possess basic computer skills - email, filing of field reports, expenses.

* Microsoft office, dynamics, excel abilities are preferred.

* Self-motivated to complete assigned tasks.

* Will be energized by challenges and drawn towards opportunities.

* Will be focused on reaching a quality solution which is acceptable to our customer and the business.

* Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

* Superior interpersonal and communication skills.

* Ability to adapt and be cross-trained to learn all job duties.

* Willingness to comply with all safety regulations and procedures.

* Ability to multitask in fast paced environment.

* Working conditions may be inside and outside with extreme temperature.

* Must be able to kneel & crawl into tight areas as needed.

* Must be able to work at heights up to 120' feet as required.

* Standing, Walking, Bending/Stooping, Push/Pull, and Repetitive Movement up to 12 hours daily.

* Lifting weights up to 50 lbs. Regularly.
