Scion Staffing is excited to present an exceptional opportunity for an entrepreneurial GHG Air Quality Project Manager (GHG AQPM) to join a highly respected global environmental services provider. This company specializes in planning, permitting, measurement, and analytical services. This hybrid role is based in Denver, CO, offering a flexible schedule of 2 days in-office and 3 days off, with the added perk of Flex Fridays (every other Friday off). The position comes with competitive compensation, ranging from $110,000 to $145,000 annually DOE, as well as comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits, and unlimited PTO. Ideal Candidate: The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of air quality consulting experience and a strong background in Greenhouse Gas (GHG) reporting, Subpart C, and Subpart W. You'll be expected to think entrepreneurially while leading projects across multiple industries and states. The Role: As the GHG AQPM, you will report directly to the managing principal and play a key role in delivering air quality consulting services to a diverse client base. Preferred industries include oil and natural gas, chemicals, cement manufacturing, painting and coatings, and food and beverage. You'll be managing and collaborating with a team of vendors to deliver high-quality solutions to clients. Responsibilities:
- Provide expert guidance on air quality regulations, permitting, and compliance.
- Tackle complex technical challenges and develop precise project scopes.
- Conduct senior-level technical oversight to ensure all project work meets quality standards.
- Mentor and train junior team members, providing leadership and guidance.
- Efficiently manage project timelines and deliverables.
- Establish and maintain strong client relationships through clear communication and responsiveness.
- Utilize tools such as AERMOD, ArcGIS, AP-42, and Promax to support project efforts.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering or a related scientific field.
- 5+ years of air quality consulting experience.
- 2+ years in project management.
- Experience independently preparing air permits from start to finish - non negotiable.
- In-depth knowledge of Subpart C of the Greenhouse Gas Reporting Program (GHGRP) and Subpart W - Petroleum and Natural Gas Systems.
- Strong understanding of chemical processes and emissions control technologies.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for client and team interactions.
- Ability to uphold a high standard of professional ethics.
- Willingness to conduct fieldwork, which may involve working on uneven surfaces and lifting light loads.
- Up to 15% travel required.
