Machines are electrically and mechanically assembled properly, with correct documentation,on time, and on budget. (Production)2. Customers – operators, sanitation, and maintenance – are trained how to use them effectivelwhile having a great experience. (Service)Hands-on, highly visible, requiring full accountability and ownership. Will need to act quickly tosolve customer problems with minimal oversight at times. Positive attitude, able to take initiativeand think critically and solve complex problems. Exercises good judgement and decision making,persistence, attention to detail, adaptability, flexibility, concern for others, and leadership.Comfortable with significant time on the road. Spanish speaking a big plus.Daily Responsibilities30% Machine Building in Shop (Billerica, MA)Assemble machines based on general machine building knowledge and ability to readdiagrams, assembly drawings, schematics, and other technical documentsWork independently on diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing issues while handlingmultiple projects at one timeEnsure that all machines are built on time, on budget, and 100% correctlyAlert engineering and work closely with them to fix and modify any incorrect parts / designsProperly document all builds and proceduresFill out work orders and other company related paperworkGeneral shop upkeep and cleaning. Teach and support fellow technicians as needed50% Customer InstallationsTravel to and commission machines at customer site (generally in North America)Demonstrate system to operators, sanitation, and maintenance while making them excitedabout the systemStay until the customer is 100% satisfied and everything is working properlyProperly document who / what / when / issues with installComplete related paperwork such as expense reports10% Customer Service CallsTravel to customer sites to perform routine maintenance and more complicated repairsMake everyone at the customer site excited about the machine and how well it operates5% Solving Down Customers (while in shop)Assisting customers over the phone with down machinesAbsolute sense of urgency to get the machine back up and running5% Emergency Service CallsTravel immediately / on short notice to customer site to solve customer problemsComplete sense of urgency getting customers back and running as quickly as possibleInterested in hearing more?
