Job Description: Field Service Technician

Location: Minneapolis, MN (VA Healthcare System, near 55417)

Pay Range: $21–$23/hour (W2)

Schedule: Monday–Friday, standard business hours. Standby hours may be required.

About the Role:

We're seeking a dedicated Field Service Technician to join our team, supporting the VA Healthcare System. In this onsite role, you'll be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting printers, imaging products, and related equipment to ensure optimal performance and high customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform installation, maintenance, and repairs on printers and imaging devices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in line with customer and product specifications.
• Provide technical training and guidance to customers and end users.
• Ensure regular communication with customers regarding service updates, ETAs, and issue resolutions.
• Manage local part inventory, track transactions, and return parts as needed.
• Follow service procedures, document call status updates, and maintain accurate reporting.
• Conduct printer assessments to optimize fleet performance and meet customer standards.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Support the deployment of print technology and related services, including inventory and consumables management.
• Train end users and assist with improved service diagnostics as needed.

Qualifications:

• Have experience in servicing printers, hard copy devices, or imaging products preferred.
• Strong electro-mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Proficiency with administrative tasks and basic computer applications (Microsoft Office Suites is a plus).
• Valid MN driver's license with a reliable vehicle and excellent driving record.
• Ability to pass a government background check.
