Our client provides advanced manufacturing systems and processes designed to enhance quality in the die-casting industry. With a strong reputation as both a retrofitter and a supplier to leading OEMs (die-casting machine manufacturers and re-builders), they are looking to expand their team. You'll become a subject matter expert in proprietary industry equipment and collaborate with installation teams to set up, fine-tune, and train maintenance personnel.Key requirements:- Multi-craft background, with strong mechanical and electrical skills- Hydraulics knowledge: possess a basic understanding of hydraulic systems and maintenance procedures- Troubleshooting experience, with proven ability to diagnose and resolve system issuesThe travel consists of 1-day local trips and 4-5 days per week for non-local travel. Per diem and mileage reimbursement provided. Your paid time starts upon departure for out-of-town travel.Your initial training consists of 3-6 months of in-house training in Cleveland shop to learn equipment assembly. For your OJT, the candidate will shadow senior techs after initial training to gain hands-on experience in fieldwork.Job responsibilities:- Assist with setting up and fine-tuning newly installed die-casting systems at client locations- Ensure systems are fully operational and optimized- Provide on-site training to client maintenance teams and conduct software training on system operation- Work on high-speed, high-resolution sensor technologies, PLC interfaces, and industrial CPUs with Windows-based touchscreens- Handle specialized die-casting valves, manifolds, and process monitoring technologies that track 35-40 parameters with advanced warning systemsBase salary, $60K - $75K, with full benefits, medical, dental, and vision, the company contributes to a health savings account. 11 days PTO, vacation and sick days, a company 401k with an exceptional portfolio of investment options.Great training and benefits and no weekend work.
