• Installation of large multi-axis machining centers at customer facilities.
• On-site troubleshooting and repair of electrical, mechanical, & hydraulic systems.
• Assembly and disassembly of machine components.
• High and low voltage wiring for machines and auxiliary components.
• Install and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, and fluids plumbing on machine.
• Trouble shooting of electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic related issues.
• Trouble shooting of control and servo related issues from the CNC control.
• Perform machine alignment using electrical and mechanical gauges.
• Test run and check of machine function.
• Function as a team member with others inside and outside the organization.
• Communicate with customer and direct supervisor on progress related to machine repair/install.
• Document service reports for work performed for customer and supervisor.
• Maintain weekly expense reports.
• Create repair procedures.
• Provide technical phone support for customers.
• Able to travel up to 75% to customer facilities throughout the US.
• Possess valid US driver's license and able to rent a car.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Technical/vocational school certificate or associate degree or equivalent experience in mechanical/electrical assembly or repair. Pneumatic experience a plus.
• 3-5 years machine tool assembly or servicing including strong mechanical, and electrical testing and debugging. Must have three years proven experience with metal cutting machine tools.
• Field Service experience required. Must have basic electrical wiring/testing experience.
