Field Service Technician - Selectek Staffing Solutions : Job Details

Selectek is hiring for a Field Service Technician in the Ames, IA area. Compensation includes base salary, annual bonus potential, 100% paid company vehicle for work and personal use (includes insurance, gas card), cell phone and a laptop computer. Required: A 2-year electrical technology degree or equivalent experience considered in lieu of degree. Understanding of PLC's, VFD's, electrical troubleshooting. Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair and service technical equipment Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with co-workers, management & clients. Must be able to handle multiple tasks, have excellent attention to detail, and be willing and able to learn new technologies quickly. Job Responsibilities: Control system commissioning and troubleshooting of PLC's, instrumentation, and motor control devices such as variable frequency drives and reduced voltage starters.
