We are looking for a Field Service Engineer - will be based in Green Bay, Wisconsin.
This is a Direct Hire with a Competitive Pay a Comprehensive Benefits Package.
The Field Service Engineer will provide start-up services, technical support, operator & maintenance training and emergency service support to customers. Provide technical assistance to Company's Sales staff and Manufacturer's representative's in conducting customer product trials and in defining project scope of supply.
- Frequent travel required in vehicles or airplane with overnight stays to provide assigned service for customers usually at customer sites - (up to 80%)
- Regular weekday work scheduled between the hours of 7 am and 5 pm with some infrequent evening or weekend work required to meet customer needs.
- Working in office environment remainder of time with heavy computer use.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise customers and their contractor's in the satisfactory installation of company's equipment in customer's plants per company's engineering specifications and in a safe and expedient manner.
- Provide start-up service for all the company's equipment at customer plants in a safe and expedient manner.
- Provide operator, maintenance, and electrician's training on the safe operation and repair of the company equipment.
- Provide detailed service reports and documentation on the machine operating parameters and documentation of people trained on the safe operation of the company's equipment.
- Provide documentation of any outstanding issues that need resolution to meet customer satisfaction.
- Responsible for handling assigned Service requests and resolving Service and Part Issues to achieve excellent customer satisfaction.
- Creation of training documentation specific for customers as well as updating current established documentation used in various forms
- Provide customer phone support while in-house and or “On-call” rotation
- Follow-up with customers on service activities to assure customer satisfaction.
- Documentation of any outstanding issues that need resolution to meet customer satisfaction.
- Provide a weekly report of unresolved customer service and parts issues.
- Perform job duties as outlined in separate Essential Duties and Functions document.

Skills and Qualifications
- 2 or 4-year degree or relevant job experience
- Valid driver license
- Qualify for or possess US Passport – Foreign travel possible into Germany, Canada and Mexico
- Experience in equipment operations and repairs. In food manufacturing a plus
- Engineering education or background a plus for performing duties.
- Average or better computer and communication skills.
- Positive attitude and good interpersonal relationship skills
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Excellent organizational skills
- Mechanical aptitude, proficient with hand tools
- Familiar with use of basic electrical testing equipment, multimeter
Physical requirements
Successful employees must have the ability to perform all of the following physical activities safely in controlled temperature environments of various food processing/packaging venues:
- Climbing. Ascending or descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, poles and the like, using feet and legs and/or hands and arms.
- Balancing. Maintaining body equilibrium to prevent falling and walking, standing or crouching on narrow, slippery, or erratically moving surfaces.
- Stooping. Bending body downward and forward by bending spine at waist.
- Kneeling. Bending legs at knee to come to a rest on knee or knees.
- Crouching. Bending the body downward and forward by bending leg and spine.
- Crawling. Moving about on hands and knees or hands and feet.
- Reaching. Extending hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction.
- Standing. Occasional standing for 10-12 hours
- Walking. Moving about on foot to accomplish tasks, particularly for long distances
- Heavy work. Lifting objects up to 30 pounds.

Salary ranges from $60,000-$72,000+, plus travel per diem and overtime.
Must be US Citizen/Permanent Resident in the US/Authorized to work in the US without needing company sponsorship.
