The Field Services Technician must be team oriented, proactive, and goal driven. This position is responsible for driving to and from customer sites and collecting samples and placing/removing sample collection equipment. Will use independence and judgment to recognize and resolve problems within established policies and procedures and is accountable for the quality, timeliness and accuracy of own work.Responsibilities:
  • Record sample information, details, and required information accurately;
  • Present a professional demeanor with clients;
  • Preparing sample kits and outbound shipments;
  • Complete daily document forms;
  • May be required to assist inside the laboratory with general duties including, but not limited to facility maintenance, sample disposal, warehouse upkeep, sample receiving, and glassware preparation, etc.;
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of job experience preferred;
  • Current Driver License with good driving record;
  • Prior experience with ISCO autosamplers is preferred;
  • Must be able to safely operate company vehicles.
Education:High School Diploma or GED.Relocation:This position is not eligible for relocation.Travel Requirements:None.Work Schedule:This position will work 8 hours Monday-Friday in SPL's Victoria, TX location.
