Your Role and Impact The Field Solutions Architect provides pre-sales field support to the product team, working closely with Field Sales and Product Development personnel to identify customer needs and advise on technical issues. With a primary focus on assisting the field sales team, they provide workable solutions and ensure complete customer satisfaction through all stages of the sales process. The Field Solutions Architect collaborates extensively with our sales team to conduct on-site and remote product demonstrations and training sessions to educate customers on product features and benefits. Day to Day Responsibilities
- Responsible for actively driving and managing the technical solution side of the sales process, both pre and post sales.
- Work in conjunction with field sales and product teams as the key technical advisor of ViewSonic product solutions for customers and prospects.
- Articulate product information and usage to Education and Corporate end users, both technical and non-technical, at the appropriate level of detail.
- Collaborate with the products team to identify technical needs of the customer, understand the requirements of the opportunity, therefore provide product/solution recommendations to prospecting and existing customers.
- Travel to customer locations, collaborate with the field sales team conducting product demonstrations and technical support.
- Create and deliver technical presentations on-site while explaining product solutions to prospective and existing customers.
- Stay current with the technical details of ViewSonic's current and future products solutions.
Your Profile
- 4 years Bachelor's Degree in Computer, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering or equivalent experience with 3+ years of related experience
- Comprehensive knowledge of AV systems preferred, including projectors, video conferencing equipment, and digital signage.
- Proficient knowledge on technical terminology and specification with regards to display and touch technology.
- Must be able to read and understand engineering specifications.
- Proficient knowledge on network, wireless, internet, various computer systems, components and applications.
- Excellent knowledge on Windows, iOS, and Android Operating Systems. Knowledgeable in utilizing MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
- Proficient in developing training and solution documentations for internal and external customers.
- Excellent skills on communication (oral and written), customer service, interpersonal, negotiation, organization, troubleshooting and problem solving
- Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with customers and members of the sales team
- Accustomed to business travels, excellent time management and a demonstrated ability to maintain accurate, detailed records.
- Proficient knowledge in Google Workspace Administration, including user accounts and security settings.
- Experience managing and configuring Microsoft Intune for device and application management
- Familiarity with the setup, programming, and troubleshooting of Crestron and Extron control systems, as well as other AV control technologies. Able to integrate these systems to enhance user experience and streamline operations in conference rooms and other AV environments.
- Familiarity with configuring and managing Microsoft Teams Rooms, ensuring seamless video conferencing and collaboration.
- Certified Technology Specialist (CTS) certification is a plus.

Work Environment & Requirements
- Office Presence: Located in Brea office but will require the ability to travel up to 75% of the time, with occasional international travel: Valid passport a plus.
- Environment: Normal office conditions.
- Physical Effort: Work requires frequent physical demands in terms of maintaining a continuous pace of business travels and maneuvering and setting up demo equipment. Able to lift up to 50lbs unassisted.
- Hazards: Negligible, little or no exposure to hazards
