Classification: Annual salary range: 55,500 - 56,500
Duties: SUNY New Paltz, Research Foundation invites applications for consideration for appointment to the position of Field Specialist within the Migrant Education Program.The successful candidate is expected to assume the following duties and responsibilities:
- Coordinate and provide direct instructional and academic services to Orange County migrant school age and out of school youth- Build collaboration and partnerships with school districts, public service agencies and community organizations- Recruit and facilitate student participation in local, regional and statewide activities- Participate in community and school functions to coordinate/enhance services to youth- Contribute to development and implementation of program workplan

Qualifications: Required:- Bachelor's degree in relevant field- Experience with outreach- Bilingual Spanish- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and internet-based systems
Preferred:- Background in education- Knowledgeable of community resources- Experience working with immigrant/migrant families and youth- Self-starter
