Job Title: Field Supervisor

Location: New Castle County

Reports To: Field Care Manager / Registered Manager

Job Summary: The Field Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality care services to clients. This role involves managing and supporting care workers, ensuring compliance with company policies, and maintaining excellent client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervision and Support:
    • Provide guidance and support to care workers in the field.
    • Conduct regular supervision and performance reviews.
    • Address any issues or concerns raised by care workers or clients.
  • Client Management:
    • Conduct initial assessments and develop care plans for new clients.
    • Regularly review and update care plans to ensure they meet clients' needs.
    • Maintain regular contact with clients to ensure satisfaction with services.
  • Compliance and Quality Assurance:
    • Ensure all care services comply with company policies and regulatory requirements.
    • Conduct spot checks and audits to maintain high standards of care.
    • Implement corrective actions as needed to address any deficiencies.
  • Training and Development:
    • Identify training needs and coordinate training sessions for care workers.
    • Support the professional development of care workers through mentoring and coaching.
  • Administrative Duties:
    • Maintain accurate records of care services, client interactions, and staff performance.
    • Prepare reports for management on service delivery and staff performance.
    • Assist with scheduling and coordinating care worker assignments.

    Qualifications:

    • Previous experience in a supervisory role within the healthcare or social care sector.
    • Strong understanding of care standards and regulatory requirements.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to manage and motivate a team.
    • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
    • Relevant qualifications in health and social care (e.g., NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
