Job Title: Technician – Aggregate/Heavy Equipment (Limited Travel)

Job Description:We are seeking a skilled and motivated Technician to provide maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on aggregate and heavy equipment. This role will primarily service a local customer in Georgia, with limited travel required only a few times a month. You'll focus on supporting our client's aggregate production equipment, ensuring efficient operations and minimizing downtime.

Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues on stationary, portable, and track-mounted equipment.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance services for a wide range of makes and models.
  • Perform aggregate plant maintenance, repair, and wear part replacements.
  • Oversee hydraulic hammer rebuilds, crusher rebuilds, and welding services.
  • Complete equipment installations and provide start-up assistance.
  • Perform thorough inspections and communicate findings to clients.
  • Deliver on-site training to client teams to ensure proper equipment use and care.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of all repairs, maintenance activities, and inspections.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean, safe working environment.
  • Build strong client relationships through excellent communication and service.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience working with aggregate production and/or heavy equipment (stationary, portable, and track-mounted systems).
  • Strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic troubleshooting skills.
  • Welding and fabrication experience is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and manage service tasks efficiently.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Limited travel required, with occasional on-call availability for emergency repairs.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to lift heavy parts and equipment and work in varying outdoor conditions.
