Job Overview: We are seeking a Field Warehouse Manager to oversee and optimize warehouse and facilities operations across multiple locations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in warehouse management, inventory systems, and safety compliance, with the flexibility to adapt to various challenges, including working outdoors and around bees. This role involves traveling approximately 50% of the year, with a focus on managing facilities in Florida, North Dakota, and California. Key Responsibilities:
  • Safety Compliance: Ensure a safe work environment by adhering to safety regulations and implementing best practices.
  • Inventory Systems: Develop and implement inventory control systems across multiple locations.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain optimal inventory levels, process restocking orders, and build a check-in/check-out process for inventory.
  • Warehouse Operations: Establish efficient systems for product handling, storage, equipment utilization, gate processes, and shipping methods, while also performing basic maintenance and repairs to keep the warehouse functioning smoothly.
  • Shipping and Receiving: Manage logistics for shipping and receiving operations.
  • Storage Organization: Optimize storage organization within warehouses to maximize efficiency.
  • Customer Requests: Respond promptly and effectively to customer inquiries and requests.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensure all warehouse equipment is properly maintained and operational.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and enhance warehouse processes and systems for efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Technical Knowledge: Utilize knowledge of warehouse operations technology and systems to support and streamline operations.
  • Communication: Maintain clear and professional written and verbal communication with all stakeholders.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in warehouse and facilities management, including building operations from the ground up.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and other relevant systems/software.
  • Experience managing multiple facilities and ensuring operational consistency.
  • Clean driving record and ability to pass a background check.
  • Ability to operate a forklift (certification required)
  • Experience in hauling and towing a strong plus.
  • Comfortable working outdoors and in close proximity to bees.
  • Willingness to travel 50% of the year, primarily between Florida and California.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with a willingness to work outside the defined scope to achieve goals.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with warehouse technology and inventory systems.
  • Background in agriculture or familiarity with seasonal operations such as almond farming.
